A slideshow is used to navigate through a series of images (or any markup) with animations between each. A slideshow can auto-play on page load or start only with user interaction. Navigation controls can include a play/pause button, forward, back, first, last slide buttons, and a thumbnail/dot/numeric navigation bar.
